POSITIVE FACTS OF FAST FOODS
Fast food definitely has a bad reputation due to its high fat, calorie and sodium choices. But after efforts of many fast food restaurants these fast food chains are moving towards a healthier choices menu, offering salads, low fat yogurts, fruit cups and wheat bun alternatives. But even by adding these choices the consumer runs the chance of falling into those high in sugar granola mix, high-fat dressing, fried chicken, cookies and also yogurt whipped toppings on the fruit. So at least we can say that these fast food restaurants are making an effort to give the consumer the choice of going for a five dollar fresh salad instead of the five dollar fat greasy cheesy burger.

Fast Food Restaurants Creating Jobs
Fast Food Restaurants Creating Jobs
Fast food giant chain KFC announced in Monday
16 February 2009 the creation of 9,000 new jobs and the opening of
300 new restaurants. That's thanks to the incoming revenue of the low
price food they sell in large quantities. Large Meal + Cheap Price + Recession
= High Income. KFC's Chief executive Martin Shuker said
he believed the chain was not only taking market share from rivals like
McDonald's, but that the sector as a whole was growing. "You can buy
a bargain bucket in our restaurants that will feed a family of four for a
tenner," he said. Mr Shuker said each new restaurant would employ
between 25 and 40 people working shifts. At the time this seemed crazy, who
would be creating jobs none the less opening new restaurants in the middle of a
recession. Fast food restaurants are a global power and are a huge part of
the economy if these places thrive they can
give opportunities to new people.
In addition Bloomberg also reports that 30% of the new jobs
were created in August of 2012 and most of this growth is coming from fast food
chains such as Wendy's and Starbucks. (Oct 3, 2012)
If
jobs till this date are still on the rise then fast food chains are a liable
source in producing jobs.
