When families dine together, they tend to eat more vegetables, fruits, fewer fried foods, soda, and meals with less trans fat because the person preparing home-cooked meals will be more deliberate in preparing the home cooked meal. "Eating sensibly doesn't take much time or money, but it does require you to make a conscious decision” which means expenses, time and choices are not a problem when preparing home-cooked meals. When young teenagers frequently eat dinner with their families are less likely to be overweight than other children.

It's nice to know that by cooking at home it can create families to gather together and talk. B)
ReplyDeleteWhen I live in Shanghai, our family cooking at home almost everyday by my mum. We seldom go to restaurants. However, after I abroad, the condition is totally opposite. I don't know how to cook so I can't cook at home. I go to different restaurants for lunch and dinner. Actually, I gained about 20lb from last July to now. Eating outside is not only bad for my health, but also let me miss my mum's food more and more. Having opportunity to eating with family is lucky and is the most happiest thing!!
